  A: After installing a new A/C accumulator, don't leave it out in the open too long, because it includes materials that can draw moisture from the surroundings. The process should start by removing all refrigerant with an A/C refrigerant recovery machine. After that, remove both the engine air inlet tube and the air distribution duct. Undo the center 8mm hex bolt on the A/C accumulator bracket and also the plastic nut that holds the A/C lines to the expansion valve. Carefully remove the A/C accumulator bracket from the strut tower and then take out the A/C line at the accumulator that goes to the condenser. Take out the old A/C accumulator, move the small line to the expansion valve on the new A/C accumulator and insert the O-rings as it goes on.
