How to Service and Repair a Transmission Speed Sensor for Input Speed Sensor on 2000 Chrysler Cirrus?

Before servicing or repairing the Transmission Speed Sensor, remove the negative cable from the battery. If you want to, go ahead and cut and cap off the cooler lines of the transmission oil. After that, take out the input speed sensor connector and unscrew the input speed sensor. Check the O-ring on the speed sensor. If it needs replacement, go ahead and replace it. Before tightening, place the O-ring correctly and then attach the input speed sensor to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.). Following that, attach the battery negative cable and the speed sensor connector once again.
