How to Service and Repair a Door Lock Switch for Negative Battery Cable on 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan?

Start the servicing or repair of the door lock switch by isolating the negative battery cable from its line. After that, take out the door trim panel and sound pad and close up the window. Take out the door lock switch wire connector from the door harness and the wiring clip from the impact beam and afterwards remove the front door outside handle. Lift the lock tab that keeps the switch in the door lock and pull the switch from the door handle. To remove, take off the hose in the steps shown above.
