The blend-air door actuator, which is an electric motor for the temperature door, has a feedback strip for the position tracking. If not working properly, it needs to be replaced. Located at the bottom of the heater housing, removal requires the battery to be disconnected, underpanel ducts to be removed and the actuator unscrewed. Installation is the reverse process.
