How to Replace and Install an EGR Tube on 2000 Dodge Intrepid?

The first steps are to take off the negative battery cable and, in that order, the air inlet tube, resonator and the bracket. After that, take out the EGR valve mounting screws and the exhaust manifold mounting screws. To install, stuff a new gasket between the EGR valve and tube and do the same between the exhaust manifold and tube before tightening all bolts. Secure the EGR tube to EGR valve bolts to 11 Nm and the tube to exhaust manifold bolts to 31 Nm. In the end, install the air inlet tube, resonator and bracket and rest the negative battery cable.
