How to Replace Car Speakers in the Instrument Panel on 2000 Dodge Neon?

The first thing to do when replacing the instrument panel speaker(s) is to unhook the negative battery cable. After that, lift the top cover off the instrument panel. Following this, disconnect the wire connector, remove the speaker and take out the speaker retaining screws. The return trip on installation is the same as the first move in reverse.
