How to Service and Repair a Gas Cap on 2000 Dodge Neon?

To repair the gas cap, loosen the cap, remove the fuel filler neck screws and lift the car. Remove the splash shield, vapor and filler tube connections and the filler neck. Reinstall in reverse order and make sure all connections are secure before lowering the vehicle and replacing the gas cap.
