To fix the exhaust manifold, disconnect the battery, lift up the vehicle and uninstall the exhaust system, engine mount and transaxle bracket. Turn off the heat shield, remove oxygen sensor and the manifold. Wipe down, check on surface flatness, and cracks, and fit a new gasket and put parts back together.
