How to Maintain Your Thermostat for Optimal Performance on 2001 Chrysler Voyager?

In order to service the thermostat, empty the cooling system, disconnect upper radiator hose, and empty coolant outlet housing and thermostat. Clean up the surfaces, replace the gasket and place the thermostat in place and reassemble. Tighten the bolts to 28 Nm, and fill up the cooling system.
