2001 Dodge Intrepid Tail Light Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Replace a Tail Light on 2001 Dodge Intrepid?
A: Before you replace the tail lamp, make sure the decklid latch is released and the decklid is open. Subsequently, take out the trunk lining from the rear panel so that you can work on the tail lamp fasteners. Take out the nuts that fix the tail lamp to the panel at the rear and pull the lamp out. After that, take out the socket from each tail lamp and pull the bulb out of it. First, push the bulb into the socket and then replace the socket(s) inside the tail lamp. Attach the tail lamp to the rear closure panel and fix it using the nuts. Put the trunk lining back on, reconnect the negative battery cable and close the hood after finishing. Lastly, test if the lamp is working properly.
