Place the notched part of both wiper elements facing the pivot. Start by placing the wiper knob to ON and then move the blades to a useful location by changing the ignition switch. Lift the retainer on the arm to raise the wiper high off the glass, then press the latch on the pivot block with the tip of the arm. Pull the blade out of the pivot until it releases from the blade hook. Never allow the wiper arm to touch the glass when the motor stops or this might harm the glass.
