2001 Dodge Stratus Coolant Reservoir Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain a Coolant Reservoir on 2001 Dodge Stratus?
A: The first step to servicing the coolant reservoir is to remove the coolant below the pressure setpoint. After that, take out the attaching screws for the power steering reservoir and the air conditioning receiver/dryer. Unplug the hose from where it connects to the coolant outlet and then undo the attaching screws on the pressure container. Complete the boil before moving the pressure container far from the heater hose and then removing it. Connect the heater hose to the pressure container for the coolant, place it in the proper mounting place and fasten it with screws. Rearrange the coolant outlet connector into place and, next, add the air conditioning receiver/dryer attaching screw along with the screw for the power steering reservoir. The last step is to fill the cooling system.
