How to Service an Oil Pressure Switch on 2001 Dodge Stratus?

First, lift the vehicle and shield off the oil pressure switch so you can reach and work on the sensor beneath. Disconnect the power supply from the oil pressure switch and set an oil container below where the switch was located. Take off the switch from the engine block by unscrewing it. Before installing the oil pressure switch, use a little Mopar Thread Sealant on the threads. Top off the heat shield and plug in its electrical wiring again. Adjust the suspension so the vehicle sits low, start the motor and search for leaks and then examine and adjust the engine oil level as required.
