How to Replace a Headlight Bulb on 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

You should take out the headlamp before servicing the bulb. Then, turn the socket one quarter counterclockwise and take it out of the lamp. Plug the bulb into the socket and pull it out. When putting in the new bulb, never let your fingers or anything oily come in contact with the glass surface to keep the bulb from wearing out faster. Place the bulb into the socket and push it in, then move the socket into the headlamp and rotate it one quarter turn clockwise before mounting the headlamp on the vehicle.
