2002 Chrysler Sebring Car Speakers Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Replace Car Speakers in the Rear Doors on 2002 Chrysler Sebring?
A: Before starting, cut off the battery negative cable, then turn down and lift up the seat backs at the back. Take the quarter trim and C-pillar trim off. Lift the rear shelf trim and remove the fasteners to remove the speaker. Be sure to unscrew the speaker screws and pull on the wire harness connector before you remove the speaker. To install the new speaker, join the wire harness connector to it, put the speaker into the opening and screw it in place, tightening until you reach 4 Nm (35 in. lbs.). Replace the rear shelf cover, rivet the quarter trim panel into place, attach the C-pillar cover, raise the back seats and link the negative battery cable. The first step with the JR27 is to remove the negative cable from the battery and use a trim stick to detach the speaker grill from the trim panel. Loosen the screws that hold the speaker to the mount and take the speaker from the trim panel, unplugging the wire harness from the speaker. When setting up, let the wire harness connector connect with the new speaker, place the speaker into the trim panel and attach the screws. Afterwards, tighten each screw to 4 Nm (35 in. lbs.). Lastly, insert the speaker grill into place and link the battery negative cable again.
