How to Service an Oil Pan on 2002 Dodge Neon?

To maintain the oil pan, unscrew the battery, lift the car, empty the oil and change the oil filter and adaptor. Removal of the structural collar and the lateral bending brace will then follow, and then the oil pan. Wipe the new pan, replace parts and pour oil in the engine.
