How to Service and Repair a Canister Purge Valve on 2002 Dodge Ram 1500?

The Power Distribution Center (PDC) side is where the engine compartment's EVAP canister purge valve is attached. To service or repair this valve, you must detach the wiring connector and vacuum hose and then take the valve off of the bracket. Attach the valve assembly to the bracket, hook up the vacuum hose and connect the electric connector for installation.
