2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Fuel Injector Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Effectively Service and Repair a Fuel Injector on 2002 Dodge Ram 1500?
A: The first job is to take away the fuel rail to service and repair the fuel injector. Disconnect any clip(s) used to hold the fuel injector(s) onto the fuel rail. Following this, place the fuel injector(s) into their positions on the fuel rail and lock them in with the right clip(s). Whenever you replace the same injector(s), use new O-ring(s). Rub a small layer of clean engine oil on every injector O-ring to help them go on easily. Once done, mount the fuel rail and turn on your engine to search for any fuel leaks.
