How to Service a Coolant Temperature Sensor on 2003 Chrysler 300M?

Before you begin with the sensor, first disconnect the negative cable from the remote jumper terminal. With the vehicle's engine cold, remove the connector from the coolant sensor and take out the sensor. The sensor should be installed and tightened to 28 Nm (20 ft. lbs.). Afterward, hook up the electrical connector to the sensor and join the negative one back to the remote jumper terminal.
