  A: The first step to removing the condenser is to remove and isolate the negative cable from the battery, then release the refrigerant from the system. Remove the refrigerant line fitting at the condenser inlet and insert plugs or tape into all opened refrigerant fittings. After that, remove the liquid line refrigerant line fitting from the condenser outlet and replace all plugs over the open refrigerant line fittings again. Disconnect the electric connector of the condenser cooling fan, remove the two nuts at the condenser studs and lift out the assembly. Before attaching the condenser, first slip the lower dowel pins into its insert on the bottom of the support rail and then fit the condenser with both studs inserted into the upper rail and tighten the mounting nuts to 5.3 Nm (47 in. lbs.). Erase the tape or rubber plugs from where the refrigerant tubes leave the condenser, then connect the liquid line or liquid line jumper to the end of those tubes. Pull the tape or caps off the refrigerant line fittings on the condenser inlet and link the discharge line to the inlet of the condenser. Connect the negative battery cable again, empty the refrigerant system and fill it up. When the condenser is changed, add 30 milliliters (1 fluid ounce) of the recommended refrigerant oil which matches the type for the vehicle compressor, to the system.
