How to Service and Repair the Right Engine Mount on 2003 Dodge Sprinter 2500?

The proper way to service an engine mount is to fix #8558 with adapters #8534-16 and lift the engine a bit. After that, lift the vehicle and secure it from underneath, then remove the bolts from the engine mount. Lightly place the vehicle on stands, then use the engine support to lift it until its weight leaves the engine mounts. Raise and prop the vehicle and then remove the mount's nuts and take out the mounting. Hold the engine mount into the stop plate and install it into its place, screwing the retaining nuts to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.). Reduce the vehicle and place the engine on the mounts until they are touching the mounts. Tighten the engine mount bolt till it is tight by hand, then allow the engine to drop onto the mount and tighten the bolt again to 83 Nm (61 ft. lbs.). Once everything else is done, take out the engine support fixture and its adapters.
