How to Service a Coolant Temperature Sensor on 2003 Dodge Sprinter 3500?

In order to service the engine coolant temperature sensor, disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the engine cover and drain the coolant. Disconnect the sensor unplugging it, and connect the electrical connector to a new one, and attach the sensor. Add the coolant and the cover and reconnect the battery. Turn on the engine and examine leakages.
