How to Service and Repair an Automatic Transmission Shifter Mechanism on 2004 Chrysler Concorde?

In order to fix 42LE automatic transmission shifter, we should remove shifter handle and console bezel. Take away the required cables, disassemble the shifter component, and connect it with five nuts with a tightening of 31 Nm. Make the shift and interlock cables, and ensure the park sprag is on.
