How to Service and Repair a Seat Switch on 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

To do the service and repair, first drive the vehicle to an area where you can open the hood and then disconnect the battery negative cable. After that, loosen the two screws on the left cushion side shield and undo the wiring from the switch. Afterward, unscrew the connecting spot and lift the switch from the outer surround. Attach the switch to the bezel with two screws first and rewire the switch afterwards. Bolt the side shield onto the left cushion, reattach the negative battery cable, shut the hood and then check if everything is working as it should.
