How to Service and Repair an Engine Mount on the Left Side on 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan?

Service of the left engine mount should start by using a hoist to lift the vehicle and take off the left front wheel. After that, unbolt the left mount and jack up the transaxle with a suitable support. Remove the front mounting bolt for the engine to give you adequate space to remove the left mount. After that, break the left frame attachment with its accompanying bolt. Drop the transaxle and after removing the horizontal bolts, you may have to lower the transaxle even more for the mount to come off. Take away the old left mount and install the new left mount onto the transaxle and lift the transaxle with the jack so that the mount is level. Place the through-bolt in the left mount and tighten it, put the cover back into place and refit the front mount through bolt. After that, replace the left front tire and lower the car.
