How to Maintain a 50/50 Split Front Armrest on 2004 Dodge Intrepid?

For the front armrest service, you need to shift the driver seat forward and the passenger seat backward. Remove the armrest lid, access retaining nut cover, armrest retaining nut. Slide off the arm rest, and then reinstall arm rest and tighten the nut to 25 N.m (18 ft.lbs.). Change the cover and move the seats.
