How to Service and Repair a Battery Tray on 2004 Dodge Intrepid?

To service the battery tray, turn the ignition and accessories off, and turn the steering wheel all the way to the right. Disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the air cleaner housing and splash shield and remove the battery hold down. Now reinstall the hold down torquing it to 16 Nm. Reinstall the splash shield and housing.
