How to Service a Cigarette Lighter on 2004 Dodge Sprinter 3500?

To service the cigarette lighter, remove the battery negative cable. Remove the knob and element and then use snap ring pliers to release the receptacle base from the panel. Disconnect wire harness, reinstall mount, reconnect wire harness and reassemble knob and element before reconnecting battery.
