How to Maintain a Shock Absorber on 2004 Dodge Sprinter 3500?

To service the shock absorber, raise the vehicle and remove the axel bolt for the rear axle. Take the ALB lever off and off the shock absorber. For installation, lock the new shock absorber in place by the frame bolt, re-attach the ALB lever and bolt the rear axle again, before lowering the vehicle.
