How to Maintain a Back Up Light Switch on 2005 Chrysler Sebring?

In order to service the back up lamp switch, raise the vehicle and disconnect the switch connector. Unscrew the switch from the transaxle, apply Teflon tape to the threads and tighten to 24 N.m (18 ft. lbs.) Reconnect the connector, lower the vehicle and check back up lamp operation.
