  A: Once a Driver air bag deploys after colliding, the air bag, Clock Spring Assembly, Steering Wheel and Steering Column Assembly should be changed. If an air bag deploys, all related vehicle components must be inspected and replaced only when their damage clearly needs it. After an automobile accident in which the Passenger air bag is deployed, it must be replaced and all air bags and vehicle components should be checked and serviced if they appear damaged. Once air bags have gone off in a frontal collision, you must replace the Front Seat Belt Retractors (Driver and passenger) with integral Tensioners.
