To service the fuel tank skid plate, you must raise the vehicle and support the skid plate. Remove four inboard bolts and three bolts from the frame side rails to remove the skid plate. For installation purposes, place the skid plate and tighten inboard bolts (41N.m) and frame bolts (37N.m).
