  A: To access the harmonic balancer and crankshaft pulley, first turn off the engine, disconnect the negative cable from the battery and lift your vehicle on a hoist. Remove the wheel from the right front, along with the inner splash shield, plus the accessory drive belt. Following this, separate the vibration damper bolt and place Special Tool 8450 on the pill under the crankshaft. Use the 3 jaw puller Special Tool 1026 as described to pull off the vibration damper. During installation, install the vibration damper by using the forcing screw, nut and thrust bearing/washer from Special Tool 8452. Reduce damage to the tools and increase their lifespan by greasing the threads on the forcing screw of Special Tool 8452. Attach the vibration damper to the crankshaft and secure it using Special Tool 8452 until the nut seats against the damper plate, then rotate the nut till it's fully seated. Substitute Special Tool 8452 with the vibration damper bolt and tighten it to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.). Afterward, install the accessory drive belt, the inner splash shield and the right front wheel and reconnect the battery's negative cable.
