How to Maintain and Fix a Hood Hinge on 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan?

In order to fix the hood hinge, take out the Front Wiper Unit and lift the hood. Mark the position of the bolts of the pivot, then loosen the pivot bolt and hinge. Fit the new hinge with bolts to given torques. Install wiper unit reinstall, align the hood and use shims to adjust the height then close the hood.
