    A: In order to service the oxygen sensor, the engine has to be cooled. Lift the car and loosen the connection between the vehicle and the O2S sensor and then unscrew the sensor with a removal tool. Wipe off exhaust pipe threads, replace the new sensor with no anti-seize applied, tighten to 30 N.m and reconnect the wire.
