    A: To service and repair a power steering line, start by draining as much power steering fluid out of the reservoir as possible to service and repair the power steering. Remove the pressure hose mounting bracket and remove the pressure hose from the gear inside the vehicle, then disconnect the pressure hose at the pump and gear; remove the pressure hose. Then, unscrew the pressure hose from the steering gear (making sure to tighten it to 37 Nm (27 ft. lbs.) when you screw it right back into the vehicle. Reconnect the pressure hose at the power steering pump and torque to 38 Nm (28 ft. lbs.) Next attach the pressure hose mounting bracket to the steering gear. The last thing to do is filling the power steering fluid.
