2006 Dodge Sprinter 3500 Brake Disc Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Brake Disc on Dual Rear Wheel on 2006 Dodge Sprinter 3500?
A: When servicing the front brake rotors on dual rear wheel vehicles, first lift and support the vehicle, then remove the front wheels. After that, take off the front brake pads, remove the caliper adapter and lastly, take off the wheel flange ring. Be sure to install the two lug studs before you loosen the brake disc locking bolt. After that point, get rid of the two lug nuts and detach the disc brake rotor. To install, first put the new disc brake rotor onto the hub and use the two lug studs to secure it. Fit the locking bolt into the rotor and tighten it to 23 Nm . After that, add the disc brake caliper adapter, making sure to tighten it up to 170 Nm (125 ft. lbs.) and continue with the wheel flange ring, tightening it up to 180 Nm (133 ft. lbs.). Attach the brake pads, use the brake pedal a few times to check fluid levels, correct them if needed, install the two front wheels and lower your vehicle on the ground.
