How to Remove and Install the Center Console Base on 2006 Jeep Commander?

To remove the console, insert a trim stick C-4755 or an equivalent into the shifter bezel ring to take it off and then lift the shifter bezel right off. After that, open the cover on the center console and cut off the power connector. Once that is done, take off the screws and remove the console. Locate the console where you want it, screw it in and secure it with the supplied tools. Attach the electrical connector again and fix the rear cover onto the console. Afterward, make sure the shifter bezel and the shifter bezel trim ring are fully in place.
