2006 Jeep Commander Sway Bar Link Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service the Sway Bar Link in the Rear Suspension on 2006 Jeep Commander?
A: Similar to the front, you should begin by raising the vehicle, letting down the rear tire and putting a jack under the rear axle. After that, take out the bolt at the top of the frame and the nut at the sway bar to separate the sway bar link. Put the upper bolt from the sway bar link onto the frame first, using a torque of 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.). Then, connect the sway bar link to the sway bar. After that, attach the nut and tighten it to 122 Nm (90 ft. lbs.), then take out the jack and lower the vehicle.
