How to Remove and Install a Glove Box on 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

You need to separate the glove box damper rod from the glove box by bringing the rod towards the back of the car. Pull out the glove-box by pressing on the small handles at the top of the bin to turn it toward you. Swing the box over, loosen the door hinges at the gate and take the glove box out. For installation, the lower glove box hinges get snapped onto the pivots and the box is rotated up into place. Trigger the glove box stop tabs down, close the box and fasten the stabilizer rod into place on the outside of the box space.
