2006 Jeep Wrangler Headlight Bulb Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Replace and Maintain a Headlight Bulb on 2006 Jeep Wrangler?
A: First, unhook the red battery cable so that no current runs to the lamp. Untighten the screws around the headlight beam, then move onto the headlight retaining ring screws. After that, take out the headlamp from the water and disconnect it from the wire harness wire connection. Hook up the wire harness on the headlamp to the connector and carefully put the headlamp into the bucket so that the bosses line up with the corresponding holes. Fit the headlamp bosses into the slots, put on the retaining ring and then fasten the retaining ring to the headlamp bucket with tight screws. Screw the headlamp bezel, making sure you don't overtighten and then attach the screws that secure the headlamp bezel securely. Once the system test is done, connect the battery's negative cable again.
