2007 Dodge Caliber Engine Control Module Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service an Engine Control Module on 2007 Dodge Caliber?
A: You should first use the scan tool to upload the vehicle's VIN and original mileage into the new Powertrain Control Module to make sure a new DTC is not set. Turn off the ignition and break the negative connection to the battery to make sure no voltage spikes harm the PCM when removing the connectors. Take out the negative battery cable first and then remove and move all electrical connectors away from the PCM. After that, take out the air cleaner box and the three fastening bolts. Then, tip the module out and remove it from its holder.
