How to Safely Detach Exterior Emblems and Decals on 2007 Dodge Ram 2500?

Apply a small piece of masking tape above the top edge and off the end of the name plate or decal you wish to remove, use the guide of the Mega Cab model as a reference since exterior name plates and decals are not the same on each cab type. Be sure the temperature stays below 52°C (120°F); always heat name plates, decals or body panels so that there is no harm to the name plates, decals or vehicle finish. If it's below 21°C (70°F), warm the name plate or decal over our shop's heat lamp or heat gun, because the exterior stickers are affixed to the body with tape. Slowly take off the name plate or decal sticking to the car's body panel using a trim stick C-4755 or a similar instrument.
