2007 Dodge Sprinter 3500 Washer Pump Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair a Washer Pump for the Rear Windshield on 2007 Dodge Sprinter 3500?
    A: First, raise the washer reservoir to unlock the part that holds the rear washer pump/motor unit (3) in place and slide it into the reservoir's inboard side. Take out the washer reservoir by removing the synthetic grommet seal (2), then fill the mounting hole of the reservoir with a new rubber grommet seal. Align the inlet end of the rear washer pump/motor unit with the center of the rubber grommet seal/filter screen in the reservoir, then press the washer pump/motor part down firmly until the inlet nipple is seated. Pull the rear washer hose back to the barbed outlet nipple of the pump and attach the wire harness connector to the fitting at the top of the motor. Box the holes in the washer reservoir with those on the bracket mounted to the top of the left front fender inner wheel house and tighten the two screws to fix the reservoir. After draining the washer reservoir, refill it with the washer fluid and link the battery's negative wire cable.
