How to Service and Repair a Rear Door Handle on 2007 Jeep Compass?

First, separate the bolster and let it hang down by the tethers to work on the exterior rear door handle. After that, take out the latch rod. Place the weather strip off to the side so you can reach the handle fasteners and remove both nuts to get the handle.
