  • Q: How to Remove the Cruise Control Servo Assembly on 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
A: First disconnect the negative power cable at the battery before handling the speed control servo assembly. After that, remove the vacuum line and the power wire from the servo. Take out the servo mounting bolt and cut the servo cable right at the throttle body. After that, take out the two nuts that hold the servo cable sleeve in place on the bracket. Pull back the speed control cable sleeve and servo out of their mounts to access and remove the cable locking clip. Lastly, pull the servo out from the bracket, being sure to keep a note of which side of the servo is facing up during your removal.
