How to Service and Repair an Oil Pan on 2008 Chrysler 300?

To work on the oil pan, first unhook the negative battery terminal from the battery in the trunk. After that, lift the car and eliminate the lower splash shield retaining bolts as well as the splash shield. Following that, remove the oil filter, then take out the oil pan. After that, get rid of the oil pump pickup tube and then get rid of the windage tray/outer main bearing cap bolts.
