- Q: How to Replace and Maintain a Headlight Bulb on 2008 Chrysler Pacifica?A: Before fixing your headlamp, start by getting rid of the front lamp unit. For halogen headlamps, first, unplug the lamp from its connector, remove the rubber seals and lastly twist the headlamp bulb out. If you have an HID headlamp, once you've taken off the front lamp unit and the rubber boots/seals, loosen the igniter counterclockwise about one quarter turn, following the direction shown by the arrow, to remove the igniter's electrical connector and unlock it from the HID lamp. Pull the igniter directly out of the headlamp and afterwards pull the lamp straight out of the igniter. To get the igniter out, start with the front lamp unit removal, take off the rubber boots/seals, twist it counterclockwise 1/4 turn to disconnect the electrical connector and pull it out of the headlamp unit. Open the front of the ballast module and remove the front lamp unit, then remove the three screws holding it into place and take out the ballast module.
