How to Detach a Wiper Arm on 2008 Dodge Ram 3500?

To detach the wiper arm, move it by hand to its over-center position so that it holds the wiper blade off the window and then release the spring tension on the connection to the wiper shaft pivot. Pull the latch at the end of the arm with the pivot outward. Apply a slight rocking motion and unside the pivot end of the wiper arm from the wiper pivot shaft.
