How to Remove the Center Console Base on 2008 Jeep Compass?

The floor console can be removed by pressing the parking brake up, and unscrewing the two screws on the console bin. Take the front and release the clips then the back. Take out the electrical connector, and simply lift the console, over the parking brake lever, to take it off.
